Dragoș Pîslaru does not rule out the possibility of joining PNL, but he specifies that such a decision depends on a potential official invitation, which has not yet been made. After participating in the National Political Bureau meeting, he described the discussions as "healthy" and "honest," emphasizing that, despite a more tense start, the four-hour debate was a real one, without insults and with contradictory opinions expressed openly.

The minister also mentioned the existence of broader political scenarios, including the possibility of an alliance for the 2028 elections, emphasizing that "options are open." Currently, he says his priority is to fulfill his mandate as interim minister and to support the interim prime minister. At the same time, he believes that, after this meeting, PNL is "more united than ever," having a strong leader and a growing popular current.
