Mircea Abrudean stated that PNL will analyze the possibility of supporting a PSD-UDMR minority government.

The President of the Senate, Mircea Abrudean, stated that PNL will decide whether it will support a minority government formed by PSD, UDMR, and minorities, depending on its alignment with the party's priorities, such as the continuation of reforms and PNRR.

The final decision will be made by the leadership bodies of PNL, and Abrudean emphasized that there are no fears regarding liberal parliamentarians who might negotiate with PSD. He mentioned that there has been no discussion about a technocrat prime minister, considering that such a government would face difficulties in managing the situation.

In the case of an alliance with USR, Abrudean specified that Ilie Bolojan remains the only proposal for prime minister from PNL. He reaffirmed that PNL will not collaborate with PSD, emphasizing that the decisions made by the party are clear and firm.
