Alexandru Muraru, president of PNL Iași: "Romania shows a captured state: the main victim is PNL and its leaders"

The president of PNL Iași, Alexandru Muraru, stated that PNL is facing a series of institutional attacks, considering the upcoming congress on Sunday. Muraru emphasized that these maneuvers, including the summons of Ciprian Ciucu to DNA on an old case, are part of a strategy of intimidation aimed at blocking his rise in the party.

He condemned the use of justice in political struggles, considering it a threat to democracy. He also criticized the decision of the Ilfov Tribunal to suspend the decisions of the National Political Bureau of PNL, deeming it an abuse. Muraru also accused Nicușor Dan of betrayal, stating that he supported collaboration with AUR, contrary to his previous commitments. In the end, he reaffirmed PNL's commitment to defend democracy and fundamental values, promising that the party will withstand pressures and will emerge "stronger" from these confrontations.
