PNL and USR have announced a parliamentary collaboration aimed at adopting reforms related to the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and accessing European funds. The leaders of the parliamentary groups met to establish legislative priorities, the first being the protection of European funds and the rapid adoption of the laws committed through the PNRR by the end of August. Urgent projects include laws regarding integrity in public office, the reform of ANAF, salary adjustments in the public sector, and the decarbonization of energy. PNL and USR warn that delays could cost Romania billions of euros, affecting infrastructure and public services. The President of the Senate, Mircea Abrudean, emphasized that the two parties form an important force in Parliament, having 133 parliamentarians.
