USR and PNL have signed a cooperation agreement in Parliament, establishing common priorities for the current legislative session. The document includes reforming public administration, increasing professionalism in state institutions, and administrative-territorial reorganization, while the leader of the USR deputies, Diana Stoica, announced that the two formations would propose a solution for streamlining the administration and administrative-territorial units.
Meanwhile, USR and PNL have also announced institutional actions related to the functioning of Parliament, including challenging before the Constitutional Court a decision that led to the removal of some of their representatives from the Permanent Bureau. In this context, Diana Stoica spoke about the need for the political majority formed around the PSD and other parties to assume responsibility.
At the same time, the PSD publicly outlined directions for local administration reform, including merging small localities, presented as a viable solution for maintaining the quality of public services. PSD President Sorin Grindeanu indicated that he would support implementing this reform should he become prime minister again.
