PNL and USR have signed a collaboration agreement in Parliament. What it provides

The parliamentary groups of the PNL and USR in the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate have signed a collaboration agreement for the current legislative session, establishing common priorities and promising to coordinate their actions in Parliament.

The document provides for reforming public administration, increasing professionalism in state institutions, and administrative-territorial reorganization. USR deputies' leader, Diana Stoica, announced that the parties would propose a solution for making the administration and administrative-territorial units more efficient.

The common agenda also includes electoral reform, including reducing the number of parliamentarians, in line with the result of the 2009 referendum.

PNL and USR also want to eliminate the excessive taxation of part-time employment contracts, for which they have already submitted legislative proposals.

Separately, the groups of the two parties in the Chamber of Deputies have referred to the Constitutional Court the appointment of two representatives of organizations considered extremist to the Chamber's leadership.

PNL deputies' leader, Gabriel Andronache, announced that the agreement would be made public and called on PSD to present any protocols concluded with AUR and SOS Romania. Claims regarding the existence of such documents have not been accompanied, so far, by their publication.
