PNL and USR are preparing for a possible breakup of the coalition: Separate meetings after the internal PSD vote

PNL and USR, the coalition partners of PSD, are preparing their strategies in the context of the internal vote within PSD, scheduled for Monday afternoon, when 5,000 social democrats will decide whether to support Ilie Bolojan as prime minister.

The leadership of PNL will meet on Monday at 18:00 to discuss the reaction to the PSD decision, expected around 19:00, which could be the withdrawal of support for Bolojan. At the same time, USR leaders will meet at 18:30, having a similar purpose. Both parties have stated that, in the event that PSD decides to break the coalition, they will no longer collaborate with the social democrats in the future.

PSD's criticisms of Bolojan continue, with Secretary General Claudiu Manda stating that he has violated the commitments made by the party, while the mayor of Sector 4, Daniel Băluță, emphasized the need for unity in the face of challenges.
