The National Liberal Party (PNL) accuses the social democrats of having gathered to discuss the possible breakup of the governing Coalition, in the context in which the Executive is working on solutions for the repatriation of Romanians from conflict zones after the attack by Israel and the USA on Iran.

PNL emphasizes that, while government leaders are seeking ways to protect Romanian citizens in the face of a difficult international situation, PSD should demonstrate maturity and responsibility.

The PNL statement emphasizes that it is inappropriate for PSD to question the stability of the government in these critical moments.

Additionally, the liberals are calling for a collaborative approach within the Coalition that prioritizes the interests of Romania.

On the same day, the leaders of the governing Coalition will meet to discuss the state budget for the year 2026.
