Paul Moldovan, current deputy mayor of Sector 6 from PNL, will take over the position of interim mayor of the sector, after Ciprian Ciucu, elected general mayor of the Capital, will resign from the position of mayor of Sector 6. Ciucu confirmed that Moldovan will occupy the interim position until new local elections are organized. Moldovan, who is also the president of the PNL Sector 6 branch, was the public administrator of the sector between 2020 and 2024 and was elected local councilor on the PSD-PNL lists. The mandate of the new general mayor must be validated within 20 days, and elections for Sector 6 must be organized within 90 days from the vacancy of the position.
