Ludovic Orban praises the leadership of Ilie Bolojan at PNL, highlighting the achievements of the government, but warns about sabotage from within the party.

Ludovic Orban states, in a message posted on a social network, that Ilie Bolojan was elected president of PNL without a rival, on July 12, 2025, and that he led the party to victory in the elections for the Capital City Hall. Additionally, Bolojan was sworn in as prime minister on June 23 and managed to bring Romania back to stability, despite the blockages imposed by PSD. Orban emphasizes that the prime minister's objectives, such as reducing the budget deficit and resuming economic growth, are achievable, but require the support of the governing coalition and the entire PNL. He warns that internal disputes and their coordination with attacks from PSD do not only affect Bolojan but also the governing coalition. Orban believes that PNL is at a crossroads and must decide between becoming a "smaller PSD" or regaining its identity as a right-wing party.
