Nicușor Dan, the president of Romania, will make an official visit to Poland on March 5, accompanied by his partner, Mirabela Grădinaru. This meeting with Polish President Karol Nawrocki will take place after the visit of Romanian Foreign Minister, Oana Țoiu, to Warsaw. It is Dan's first official visit to Poland since the presidential elections on June 1, when Nawrocki was elected president.

Previously, in May 2022, Nicușor Dan participated in an electoral rally in Warsaw to support Rafał Trzaskowski, Nawrocki's opponent. Although the Polish presidential administration has not provided details about the meeting's agenda, Dan emphasized the importance of collaboration between Romania and Poland within a strong European Union. Additionally, the official visit to the Oval Office at the White House is still in the preparation stage, after several delays.
