President Nicușor Dan declared that he is following "with maximum attention" the evolution of the war in Ukraine and emphasized that he aligns with the European leaders who reaffirmed today their constant support for Kiev.

President Nicușor Dan stated that he is closely monitoring the developments of the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and has joined other European leaders in ensuring continued support for Ukraine. He emphasized the importance of supporting Ukraine's sovereignty, alongside the USA, and highlighted the necessity of an intense transatlantic dialogue, in the spirit of solidarity among allies. Dan mentioned that the security of Romania and Europe depends on the future conditions of peace in Ukraine. He also assessed the situation from the perspective of the security interests of the Republic of Moldova, considering them essential for Romania. At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky rejected an American plan for ending the war, deeming it favorable to the Kremlin.
