President Nicușor Dan sent a strong message of solidarity and support for the Ukrainian people, on the occasion of the four-year anniversary of the start of the war in Ukraine.

He emphasized the courage and resilience of Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression, stating that Romania will continue to provide support as long as necessary. Nicușor Dan highlighted the devastating impact of the conflict on families and the lives lost, expressing gratitude for the sacrifices of Ukrainians. He also stressed that peace in Ukraine is essential for the stability of Europe and reaffirmed the unity of the European Union in the face of external threats. As a symbol of support, the Cotroceni Palace will be illuminated in the colors of the Ukrainian flag.
