Siegfried Mureșan criticizes PSD for the complaints in Brussels related to justice/ "It is the party led by Prime Minister OUG 13"

PNL MEP Siegfried Mureșan mocked the social democrats, who announced that they would report the liberals to Brussels, recalling the period when PSD defended Liviu Dragnea. Mureșan emphasized that PSD presented attacks on the rule of law as a defense, stating that they have not changed and continue to defend abuses.

PSD MEPs have reported to the Committee on Civil Liberties of the European Parliament, requesting an analysis of the recent statements made by the liberals about justice, which raise questions regarding the independence of the judiciary and the separation of powers in the state. PSD clarifies that the initiative does not target cases pending in court, but the public statements of PNL regarding the activity of the courts and the criminal investigations concerning liberal leaders.
