Just a few hours before a possible appointment of a prime minister by President Nicușor Dan, PNL MEP Siegfried Mureșan, who is the right's proposal for the head of the Executive, launches an attack on Sorin Grindeanu - the PSD proposal for the position of prime minister. The liberal claims that the PSD leader does not enjoy the trust of European partners and states that his political past continues to affect Romania's credibility in the European Union.

The European Union will never forget that the Social Democratic Party, under the leadership of Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu, tried to legalize political corruption through OUG 13.

Another moment of distrust was the delay in implementing the PNRR, the avoidance of reforms, and Marcel Ciolacu's 9.3% deficit, with Sorin Grindeanu as a member of the Government.
