The President of the Senate, Mircea Abrudean, stated that the fall of the Government, following the PSD-AUR censure motion, brings responsibility for those who voted for this initiative. Abrudean emphasized that economic destabilization is the result of a toxic alliance, which directly affects Romanians through the increase in the euro exchange rate and prices.

He stated that those who bring down a government must come with solutions, not chaos, and warned about the economic and social consequences. At the same time, the first vice-president of PNL, Cătălin Predoiu, expressed regret that this situation has been reached and emphasized the importance of continuing negotiations, stating that PNL remains a strategic party for Romania and must not abandon governance.
