Mircea Abrudean, the president of the Senate, stated that although the PSD is part of the governing coalition, there is a certain resistance to the assumed reforms.

The atmosphere in the coalition is not always positive, being characterized by quarrels and grievances, but discussions always return to the negotiating table. Abrudean would like the PSD to remain in the coalition and believes that this is possible. He also stated that Ilie Bolojan will hold the position of prime minister according to the coalition protocol, emphasizing that the majority of his colleagues from PNL support him. Regarding the tensions between PSD and USR, Abrudean acknowledged that they exist, but emphasized that dialogue and understanding can help resolve the issues.
