Nicușor Dan will meet with magistrates' representatives to discuss a draft reform of pensions in the judiciary, which has provoked discontent and protests among them. The draft proposes raising the retirement age to 65 and setting pensions at 70% of final salary. Judges are challenging the proposals, accusing an attempt to destabilize the judiciary and calling for the involvement of the Constitutional Court. The justice minister stressed that the document is only a proposal and that discussions will continue to reflect the will of the coalition.
