Marcel Ciolacu, the PSD candidate for the presidency of the Buzău County Council, stated that he is waiting for the election results with emotions, considering the low turnout in the county. He referred to a previous unfortunate experience, calling himself "Stan the Păbit." Ciolacu explained that the reduced mobilization of the electorate is due to the fatigue and general disappointment of people towards the political class, emphasizing the impact of constant negative news.

Additionally, the former PSD leader mentioned the cancellation of elections, restrictions imposed on some candidates, and the introduction of new taxes and excises as factors contributing to this situation. The former prime minister emphasized that "people are somewhat fed up with politicians and politics in general."
