Lia Olguța Vasilescu, the vice president of PSD, stated that she does not believe in the recent polls that place the party between 17% and 23%. She estimates that if the elections were to take place tomorrow, PSD would achieve a score between 25% and 30%, due to the party's organizational capacity. Olguța acknowledged that part of the PSD electorate voted for other candidates, such as Călin Georgescu or Victor Ponta, in the presidential elections. She also mentioned the confusion created in the media, which suggested that George Simion's entry into the second round would help PSD.
