Kelemen Hunor, the president of UDMR, stated that it is essential for the new Government to be installed in July to prevent AUR from taking advantage of the current political crisis.

He emphasized that George Simion, the leader of AUR, speculates on the coalition's mistakes, remaining in opposition and not needing to act actively.

"It is normal for George Simion to speculate on any mistake of ours. He is in opposition, it would be absurd for him not to speculate on the mistakes of the coalition. And he is actually just sitting there, watching the game, eating popcorn, drinking a beer, and growing. He doesn't have to do anything.", said the UDMR leader in an interview for HotNews.

The UDMR president warned that, in the absence of a solution, Romania could become ungovernable, and the anger of citizens could turn against the governing parties.

Additionally, the UDMR leader referred to President Nicușor Dan, stating that he does not consider him close to either PSD or PNL.
