Prime Minister designate Ilie Bolojan has provoked a conflict in the PNL by putting forward Dragoș Pîslaru for the European Funds Ministry, a choice contested by the party leadership. Pîslaru, a former labor minister and MEP, has connections in Brussels, but the PNL prefers other internal solutions. Meanwhile, USR has decided on ministers for the Foreign, Defense, Environment and Economy portfolios, with Oana Țoiu, Diana Buzoianu, Radu Miruță and Liviu-Ionuț Moșteanu on the lists. PNL and PSD are preparing to validate the list of ministers for the new government.
