Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated that, although his government has been dismissed, it is essential to continue exercising its functions until a new cabinet is formed.
He emphasized the difficulties encountered in managing economic issues, such as the absorption of European funds and the energy crisis, having diminished competencies.
Bolojan asserted that a new and responsible government is necessary to avoid a precarious economic situation, mentioning that Romania has escaped the risks of a country rating downgrade through correct economic measures.
The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of maintaining economic and budgetary stability and warned against the waste of public funds.
He concluded that a responsible government must continue to reduce expenditures and create favorable conditions for development.
