Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan is set to have a discussion on Friday with officials from the Ministry of Finance to assess the necessity of extending the e-Invoice system to all individuals, including those who own small businesses. Bolojan emphasized that this measure could bring additional bureaucracy, considering that he has already received complaints from entrepreneurs on this matter.

He mentioned that it is important to determine whether the extension of the e-Invoice will effectively contribute to combating tax evasion or if it will only generate an additional administrative burden for small entrepreneurs. The discussions will take place in the context of the ongoing digitalization of tax processes in Romania.
