Ilie Bolojan: "PSD would like a puppet-type prime minister"

The Prime Minister and president of PNL, Ilie Bolojan, criticized PSD for its tendency to position itself as the opposition within the governing coalition, accusing them of a lack of responsibility and constructive solutions. He emphasized that he has the duty to ensure the functioning of the Government and that he will not allow PNL to become an obedient party.

Bolojan mentioned that if PSD ministers resign, other members will be appointed to take over the vacant portfolios. In the context of tensions within the coalition, he stated that he was disturbed by the measures taken to limit privileges and the plundering of the budget.

He also emphasized that PSD needs a puppet prime minister, but he will not accept this situation. On April 20, PSD will consult its members regarding the withdrawal of support for Bolojan, and a possible resignation or motion of censure could follow.
