Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan criticized PSD again for not coming up with a committed proposal for prime minister after the no-confidence motion against him, saying that the party "has been hiding in the bushes for three weeks".
"PSD has been hiding in the bushes for three weeks, it is not coming up with any committed proposal, as would be normal, it is fleeing from responsibility," said Ilie Bolojan on DigiFM.
When asked if President Nicușor Dan made it clear that he would not nominate a prime minister from PSD, Bolojan avoided answering.
"I wouldn't want to go into details, he (Nicușor Dan, ed.) can communicate as he sees fit," the interim prime minister also stated, emphasizing that "we will see in a public announcement an explicit offer, we will discuss this option and we will position ourselves unequivocally."
Regarding the possibility that Nicușor Dan might renominate, Bolojan said that "if a government does not pass, other options should be considered," and that "PNL is a responsible party."
At the same time, about the names of prime ministers circulated in the public space, Ilie Bolojan said: "What I can confirm to you, because I have seen all sorts of names being put forward, no name has been discussed explicitly. This I can confirm to you."
He specified that, from his point of view, after nearly a year of experience as prime minister, "it is difficult for a technocratic prime minister to perform."
