Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan announced that he will build a "political alternative" in case the motion of censure submitted by PSD and AUR passes.

Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated in an interview for Rock FM that if the motion of no confidence against his Government is approved, it will create an alternative, "in such a way that modern Romania knows that there is a political force that is able to create conditions for development in Romania, governing honestly, correctly, creating good conditions for people and respecting the citizens of the country".

Bolojan emphasized that the National Liberal Party has learned from past mistakes and that it is essential to govern "correctly and honestly". Criticizing PSD, he stated that the lack of trust generated by this party affects any prime minister and predicted that PSD will quickly find reasons for discontent. The Prime Minister accused PSD of lies and lack of responsibility, emphasizing that the state budget has been misused by the underperforming administration.
