Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan participated in the General Assembly of the Romanian-American Chamber of Commerce, where he discussed Romania's economic priorities. He emphasized the necessity of maintaining budgetary balances and reducing the state's operating expenses to avoid large deficits. Bolojan highlighted the importance of absorbing European funds, mentioning that Romania needs to utilize 10 billion euros for investments in infrastructure, including the Moldova Highway. Additionally, the Prime Minister stressed the need to increase energy production and storage capacity to reduce energy prices. He promised to continue simplifying bureaucratic processes and maintaining fiscal predictability, including reducing the turnover tax. Bolojan concluded by affirming the commitment to keep Romania competitive in the international market.
