PSD Deputy Marius Budăi, former Minister of Labor, launched severe criticisms against Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, emphasizing that the report of his first year in office is marked by a decrease in the standard of living and the deterioration of the economic situation. Budăi states that Romanians have paid a high price for political promises, and economic indicators demonstrate a painful reality: the economic growth forecast has dropped from 2.4% to a decline of 1.2%, while inflation has reached 10.9%.
He also emphasizes that public debt has alarmingly increased by 25 billion lei more than in the previous period. Budăi criticizes the government for the lack of tangible results and for the preference to engage in political confrontations instead of constructive dialogue. He concludes that Romania has lost a year, with decreasing salaries and pensions, and calls for a leader capable of uniting and building, not dividing.
