Sorin Grindeanu, the leader of the PSD, stated that the reform of judges' pensions represents a major urgency for Romania, warning that the country risks losing 230 million euros without a new law.

Grindeanu proposed the formation of a working group with specialists from all parties to develop a reform proposal, mentioning that he is not an expert in the field. He also expressed his concern that if the efforts for reform had started earlier, Romania would have been in a more favorable legislative calendar, considering that it is now delayed.
