Sorin Grindeanu, about the Russian drones that entered Romanian airspace: "I can say that on this subject (Traian Băsescu) was right, that we made a fool of ourselves"

The president of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, stated that Romania has been made a laughing stock in the face of the incident with the Russian drones that entered national territory. He emphasized that defense mechanisms should function effectively, mentioning that it is unacceptable for a drone to fly freely from Tulcea to Galați and then reach the Republic of Moldova. Grindeanu called on the Prime Minister to come to Parliament to present an assessment of national security and future plans.

He also supported the need for transparency regarding the financial aid provided to Ukraine and Moldova, stating that he agrees with such a measure without hesitation.
