Grindeanu says that "there are very high chances" for the motion against Bolojan to pass. What he is thinking to do if the motion passes: "Is Ilie Bolojan calling me?"

The president of PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, reaffirmed that his party will not collaborate with AUR to form a government, despite the joint signing of the censure motion. In an intervention on Antena 3, Grindeanu mentioned that the motion has "very high chances" of passing, with over 250 signatures collected, provided that these are not withdrawn until the scheduled vote on May 5.

He emphasized that PSD does not support a minority government and is open to taking over the government if this is the solution resulting from consultations. Grindeanu expressed confidence that a solution will be found quickly after the vote on the motion, but warned that if it does not pass, PSD will analyze all available options, including his resignation from the party leadership, if necessary to unblock the political situation.

"When you see this number of signatures, very high chances, if there are no withdrawals of signatures, because this can also happen until the day of the vote. Today, as we speak, there is no emotion from this point of view. If the motion does not pass, we will do an analysis, all options are on the table (...) Ilie Bolojan is calling me not to resign?! I will resign (from the head of PSD - editor's note), if that is how the situation is unblocked," declared Sorin Grindeanu on Thursday evening, on Antena 3.
