The president of PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, stated that his party will not form a majority with extremist parties, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a pro-European coalition. During a meeting in Bacău, Grindeanu asserted that there is a possibility of forming a coalition in Parliament without PSD, among parties such as PNL, USR, and AUR. He insisted that PSD will not collaborate with extremist parties and that solutions to the problems facing Romania must come from a coalition that respects European values. Grindeanu highlighted that the majority of Romanians believe that the country is heading in the wrong direction and promised that PSD will act to change this situation, considering that 80% of citizens share this opinion.
