Sorin Grindeanu stated that PSD does not support Nicușor Dan's proposals for the leadership positions in SRI and SIE

The interim president of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, stated that he does not accept the proposals of Nicușor Dan for the leadership of the SRI and SIE, mentioning that it is essential for these institutions to have people appointed who will protect the national interest. Grindeanu avoided naming the proposed individuals but emphasized that he does not support nominations agreed upon by AUR, considering that the discourse of this party is anti-European. He reaffirmed the importance of Romania's membership in the EU and NATO.
