Sorin Grindeanu, the president of PSD, declared on Wednesday that the interim prime minister Ilie Bolojan is hindering the finding of a solution for the political crisis and keeps USR in a state of captivity. Grindeanu emphasized that Bolojan has taken control over USR, stating that the president of this party is no longer Dominic Fritz, but Bolojan.

He accused that as long as Bolojan remains in charge, there will be no viable solution for the current political problems. Grindeanu mentioned that, although there are possibilities for dialogue in each party, he does not wish to criticize the positions of other political formations, but to focus on PSD's proposals. The social-democratic leader emphasized the importance of internal consultations and the policies that his party wishes to promote.
