The censure motion initiated by the AUR, entitled "They ruined the country and now they are forcing Romanians to foot the bill", was read in the plenary session of the Chambers, but AUR leader George Simion was absent and the hall was almost empty. PNL's Raluca Turcan underlined the absence of the opposition, suggesting that it did not believe in his approach. The AUR's criticisms are seen as more for show than for constructive solutions, and a possible approval of the motion could lead to severe economic problems for Romania.
