At a press conference after the vote in Parliament against the Bolojan government, George Simion, the president of AUR, emphasized the importance of all Romanian citizens for his party. He mentioned the protests of ethnic Hungarians against the taxes imposed by the government, which took place in various localities, demanding their representatives to vote for the motion of censure. Simion accused UDMR of betraying the voters, stating that the party did not support the motion due to its origin. AUR reaffirms its commitment to all citizens, including ethnic Hungarians, and invites them to join the party. Simion called on ethnic Hungarians and all citizens of Romania to register in AUR, emphasizing the importance of every vote and every voice in democracy.
