George Simion, the leader of AUR, announced the organization of a new protest against the current government, scheduled for January 15, at 6:00 PM, in University Square in Bucharest. In a mobilizing message addressed to party members, Simion emphasized the importance of active involvement in political actions and urged them to pay their dues for 2026. He encouraged supporters not to criticize behind social media accounts, but to go out into the streets and fight for what they believe belongs to them. He also mentioned that AUR will organize a pilot action for the repatriation of Romanians on January 24 .
