George Simion, the leader of AUR, stated that Adrian Veștea and Eugen Tomac invited Deputy Muhammad Murad to Vila Lac to discuss the possibility of some AUR parliamentarians supporting the Veștea government.

Simion emphasized that this action is an attempt to break away some of AUR's votes, suggesting that his parliamentarians are not being treated with respect.

“After the hasty appointment of Adrian Veștea, one of the AUR deputies, Mr. Murad was invited to Vila Lac by Adrian Veștea and Eugen Tomac. They participated in a discussion about how some AUR parliamentarians could vote for the Veștea Government, as if we were a market,” said George Simion.

Additionally, Nicușor Dan stated that no presidential advisor was involved in the discussions for forming a majority, thus contradicting Simion's accusations.
