Eugen Tomac, the designated prime minister, stated that he is willing to negotiate and accept compromises to form a government that ensures stability and predictability in Romania, considering the uncertainty of political support.

Tomac claims that he has had constructive discussions with the national minorities group and emphasized the seriousness of the country's current situation.

According to him, he presented the proposed list of ministers but stated that he will continue consultations with the leaders of parliamentary parties, being prepared to make changes to meet their expectations.

"Where there are uncertainties, discontent, it is clear that I am willing to discuss with the parties and we can propose other people agreed upon by everyone," he mentioned.

Tomac reiterated that he does not want party members in the government, preferring specialists with experience.

He is expected to have new meetings with party leaders and a discussion with the president to present the conclusions of the consultations.

We remind that the head of state would have a backup plan, in case Tomac does not obtain the investiture vote.
