Eugen Tomac: The salary law, as it looks today, cannot be sent to Parliament

The designated Prime Minister Eugen Tomac stated that the salary law, in its current form, cannot be sent to Parliament, as it affects various categories of beneficiaries. He emphasized the importance of amending it, considering that the failure to adopt the law could lead to the loss of 770 million euros in European funds.

Tomac mentioned that, although the law does not aim to increase salaries, but rather to rearrange them by categories, it is essential to find a compromise that does not disadvantage any category of beneficiaries. The Prime Minister stressed the need for open and honest dialogue between political parties to reach an acceptable solution. He warned that a law that generates chaos and injustice is not useful, emphasizing that society cannot function based on regulations that disadvantage certain groups.
