Eugen Tomac: When a "convincing" formula will be found for the parties, the president will make a new appointment that will go through Parliament.

The presidential advisor Eugen Tomac stated that President Nicușor Dan will make a new appointment for the position of prime minister after an acceptable formula is identified by the political parties.

Eugen Tomac declared that President Nicușor Dan is actively involved in solving the political crisis in Romania, maintaining a constant dialogue with political leaders. According to him, at a recent meeting, the available solutions to overcome this situation were discussed. Tomac mentioned that, in the last three months, the president has made two nominations for the position of prime minister, which were not accepted.

He announced that a new nomination will be made soon, once an acceptable formula for the political parties is found.
