Eugen Tomac, the proposed prime minister for the formation of the new Executive, completed discussions on Monday evening with PNL, USR and PSD, aiming to obtain support for his cabinet.
Tomorrow, at 10:00 AM, Tomac will resume meetings with UDMR, followed by discussions with the national minority groups, UPR, PACE, and POT. So far, AUR and SOS have not been invited to the negotiations.
Tomac expressed confidence in the support of PNL, mentioning the reforms initiated by Bolojan, but received mixed feedback from USR, which expressed reservations about the proposed ministers. At PSD, Tomac found openness, but the leader Sorin Grindeanu emphasized the need to change the austerity model.
To be invested, Tomac needs 233 votes in Parliament.
The political bureau of PNL will meet to decide the party's position.
