The Minister of Environment, Diana Buzoianu, explained that the reorganization of Romsilva will not lead to the dismissal of 500 employees, but to their redeployment in the forestry offices and the new regional directorates. She emphasized that unnecessary director posts and structures will disappear. Buzoianu accused a small group of people of turning Romsilva into a clientelistic system and proposed a fair pay scale for employees. Trade union protests highlighted tensions over restructuring, but the minister reaffirmed that Romsilva would not be used for personal gain.
