<p>USR President Elena Lasconi says it is more important than ever that politicians stop making "empty promises" to people. "We have not received any answer to the question: what does the 2025 budget look like? We didn't get any answer to the question: how do we finance the reforms promised to the people? What savings are being made from the promised cuts? How big is the hole in the state budget? Are Romanians' taxes going up or not from next year?" added Lasconi, after the meeting of the parties at the Victoria Palace.
