Elena Lasconi, the USR mayor of Câmpulung Muscel, stated that the government led by Ilie Bolojan is "the worst government in Romania's history in the last 35 years," accusing it of halting the mayors' projects and affecting local communities. Lasconi announced that she will sue the Government to obtain justice for the people of Câmpulung, mentioning that many projects, including those for the purchase of electric buses and minibuses, have been blocked by a government ordinance.
She emphasized that, although her municipality is poor and depends on European funds, she has managed to attract resources for projects, but is now facing difficulties due to government decisions. Lasconi criticized the lack of communication with Prime Minister Bolojan and stated that if he were the President of Romania, she would have asked him to resign. She believes that blocking these projects represents a major mistake in a capitalist society.
