Dragoș Pîslaru clarified that, although some sections of the Moldova and Unirii Highways can no longer be financed through the National National National Reform Program, there are alternative solutions. He underlined that Romania risks losing €7.8 billion from the PNRR due to delays and lack of political ownership. Pîslaru promised to fight to save the projects and to rebuild the relationship with the European Commission. PSD leaders' reactions to his statements were critical, accusing him of fake-news.
