Dominic Fritz, the president of USR, stated that the elections for the General City Hall of the Capital must take place as soon as possible, ideally in the fall of this year. He emphasized that Nicușor Dan, supported by USR, won the previous elections, and the delay in organizing new elections by the parties that did not win is undemocratic. Fritz believes that any delay in organizing the elections constitutes an abuse of office, considering the legal obligation to hold them.
