Robert Negoiță, the mayor of Sector 3, stated that the early elections for the position of general mayor of Bucharest cannot be organized before Christmas, which means they will be postponed until 2026.

He expressed his preference for candidate Daniel Băluță, the current mayor of Sector 4, and ruled out the option of his own candidacy. Negoiță mentioned that he does not consider Stelian Bujduveanu to be the "first violin" among the common candidates, but acknowledged the qualities of Ciprian Ciucu, the mayor of Sector 6, appreciating his work.
