Dominic Fritz, the leader of USR and the mayor of Timișoara, stated on Facebook that he is being harassed by an employee of the State Inspectorate in Construction (ISC), who is cursing him on social media and is imposing fines on him in an official capacity. Fritz claims that the employee verbally attacks him on Facebook, using insulting terms, and is later sent to carry out inspections at the City Hall, where he imposes sanctions for various minor irregularities. The mayor has reported the employee's behavior to the ISC, but has received no response or investigation.
Fritz was fined for construction work without authorization, and recently, the employee attempted to block the building permit for a garden. He believes that this situation reflects the politicization of state institutions, which are used for harassment, and emphasized that he has not filed an official complaint with the police. Additionally, Fritz expressed support for freedom of expression in the context of a recent scandal between CSM and Deputy Prime Minister Oana Gheorghiu.
